Reporting to the Head of Engineering, as a software tester, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. You will be responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by Software Engineers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it is deployed to everyday users.

Working closely with software engineers you will ensure tests are fit for purpose and provide adequate coverage. You will be required to produce detailed test reports to provide an audit trail of the overall testing and software development process, Ensuring issues and defects are reported with the required detail

**Skills Required**:

- Must be familiar with bug tracking and bug life-cycle, using Jira as a tool.
- Ability to use Dynamic testing tools e.g. Selenium
- Knowledge of Automation testing script

- **main duties and areas of responsibility**:_
- Write and maintain automated tests
- carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
- write bug reports
- Liaise with product team and other key stakeholders to discuss findings and assess any issues discovered
- Liaise with Software Engineers, providing feedback and outlining any issues
- provide quality assurance
- troubleshoot and problem solve
- Review documentation
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
