**Main purpose of the role**:
To ensure all production areas, machinery and the building itself meet our strict standards of hygiene at all times.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that cleanliness is maintained throughout the site at all times.
- Dealing with issues as and when they arise to maintain cleanliness
- Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
- Clean processing equipment and production lines to required standards. This is measured through sample testing
- Deep cleaning of production areas in line with schedule
- Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed
- Make sure that all work complies with current Company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
- Ensure all cleaning and personal protective equipment are fully functional at all times
- Work to meet deadlines ensure duties are carried out diligently
- Report any incidents or environmental concerns

**Required skills and/or qualifications**:
Essential:

- Manual handling certificate
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Team player
- Ability to remain calm when under pressure
- Keen eye for detail
- Adaptable and flexible to meet changing needs

Desirable:

- Level 2 (Basic) Certificate in Food Safety
- Previous experience within the food industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
