Within a team of digital acquisition managers and wider marketing team, this role has responsibility to grow brand awareness, acquire quality traffic which will convert, increasing revenue and profit for the business.

**Responsibilities**:
**Strategy**
- Support the senior digital acquisition manager to execute an acquisition strategy inline with the overall digital strategy
- Closely monitor competitors and outside of our sector to provide recommendations to ensure that our strategy and tactics are best in class.

**Total Search**
- Support in the management of PPC agency, ensuring the overarching paid ad strategy (encompassing paid search, display, remarketing,) is implemented effectively and to plan.
- Ensure acquisition targets for all digital platforms are met within the agreed budget requirements
- With agency and internal support, contribute to the SEO and paid advertising strategy from creation to delivery.
- With agency support deliver a paid advertising strategy which delivers revenue whilst being efficient with budget, by working in harmony with SEO.
- Effectively work with the product team to improve product related content to increase our presence in search
- Identify content gaps and provide content producers and editorial teams with recommendations for implementation based on driving traffic.
- Work with the digital trading team to have an ongoing optimisation programme of all landing pages based on an ongoing testing programme.
- Working with the content team on the implementation of social media advertising and tracking.

**Wider digital components**:

- Work with the content team in ideation and management of content marketing/social media campaigns and competitions designed to increase brand awareness, improve consideration, drive awareness, traffic and conversions.
- Work with creative team on creation of digital acquisition assets to drive engagement and transactional revenue.
- Work closely with RM IT and digital dev team on internal system and integration improvement projects.
- Where applicable, support the international division by owning the digital acquisition strategy across the relevant channels.

**Analytics**:

- Working with the Analytics team to develop, refine and deliver regular reporting, identifying and influencing the correct metrics.
- Create and distribute reports with insight to monitor and highlight issues suitable for the receiving audience

**Experience**:

- Experience of working in a similar role within ecommerce
- Proven background leading a team to deliver multiple digital projects on time and within budget
- Experience running paid-search, display, affiliates, and paid social.
- Self-motivated, ability to use initiative and manage/ prioritise their own and team’s workload efficiently with a can-do attitude
- Must be able to demonstrate intimate understanding of attribution modelling techniques
- Google AdWords certified, and strong Google Analytics experience essential
- Experience of both manual and automated bid management techniques
- Proven experience of working with SEO and agencies successfully
- Experienced in briefing internal teams and agencies.
- Comfortable managing content production, whether internally or using external suppliers.
- Experience in ensuring compliance of marketing collateral to brand guidelines.
- Comfortable using Google Ads Manager and Facebook Business Manager/Ad Manager.
- Proficient using Google Analytics and interpreting data.
- Understanding of how social and paid ads fit within a wider marketing strategy.
- Effective written communication and presentation skills - able to present ideas and strategies in a clear, concise manner to multiple audiences.
- Organised and able to prioritise and delegate workload effectively.
- Able to write effective briefs and manage the production of content efficiently.
- Analyses and interprets data to inform planning and strategy.
- Able to find creative, campaign-based solutions to business challenges and marketing objectives.
- Ability to compile marketing reports utilising a variety of data sources.
- Proof-reading and editing skills.
- Outgoing and articulate, with great interpersonal skills.
- Exceeds at building and maintaining relationships at all levels.
- Able to use initiative, whilst being comfortable collaborating with others to solve problems.
- Able to clearly and simply communicate to a diverse set of stakeholders and adjust delivery to suit the audience
