Empowering Learning are supporting a secondary school based in East Anglia. They are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher on a permanent basis from September 2023 or sooner if possible. This post has been made available due to the promotion of the currentDeputy Headteacher to Principal at a local Academy.

They are heavily over-subscribed with near to 1,800 students and over 200 teaching and support staff. The large Sixth Form contains over 30% of students from the local region. As a school they are regionally and nationally recognised for their professionaldevelopment, curricular and co-curricular success.

As the new Deputy Headteacher, you will oversee welfare, behaviour and inclusion in across the school, as well as leading and managing all aspects of attendance, behaviour, safeguarding, welfare, additional learning and inclusion at the school, which willenable students to achieve the greatest possible progress and secure the highest possible attainment at all key stages. You will lead two Assistant Headteachers, Director of Safeguarding and Director of Personal Development, as well as the established andsuccessful House Teams and newly formed Additional Learning Faculty, and Middle Leaders in all aspects of behaviour, safeguarding and welfare.

**Salary**:£70,733 - £78,010
