Elevation Accountancy and Finance are currently working on a great opportunity, for a knowledgeable and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk, to join a reputable business, based in Hunslet on a permanent basis.

Working within a busy Finance function, your role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions and in doing so adhering to company policy and controls.

Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include:

- Entering supplier invoices
- Chasing up colleagues to confirm receipt of indirect goods and services
- Dealing with supplier queries in a polite, clear and timely manner
- Identifying and resolving issues with outstanding supplier invoices
- Producing a report of invoices that are cleared for payment
- Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Assist the finance team as and when necessary with other finance related work
- Build relationships with colleagues in the other business functions and raise

awareness of the proper Purchase to Payment process

Role requirements include:

- Previous experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk
