MACHINIST CNC TURNER

Location: Weymouth
Basic rate of pay: £16ph
Night shift rate: £21.28ph
Overtime rates from £21.28ph to £32ph
Shift patterns:

- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm
- Night Shift, 6am - 6pm Monday night to Thursday night
Snapshot of duties and responsibilities for Machinist CNC Turner:

- Set and operate CNC lathes, some of which have live tooling
- Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment in process inspection to ensure total process control is maintained
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards
- Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained, and updated to reflect current process on job cards
- Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
- Always maintain a safe and tidy work environment
As Machinist CNC Turner, you will have some of the following skills and experience:

- Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted)
- Aerospace industry experience desired
- Knowledge of Fanuc control systems
- Experience working with engineering drawings and work to instructions i.e. job cards
- Ability to set and operate different machine tools
8 PC literate
