Mechanic - Groundscare & Argicultural Machinery

Gibsons Garden Machinery Ltd, a leading supplier to the Groundscare Industry across the North West and Yorkshire are looking to recruit a Groundscare & Agricultural Machinery Mechanic to join their growing team based in Colne, Lancashire.

If you have experience in the diagnostics and repairs of plant, farm machinery or ground-care machinery, then we want to hear from you

You will be working on a wide variety of machinery and equipment that we supply including commercial mowers, utility vehicles, golf machinery, tractors and chippers.

**Duties to include**:

- Carry out servicing on machinery as specified
- Performing diagnostics and repairs to customers machinery
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and checks on both new and used machinery
- Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure correct parts for each job are ordered accurately
- Accurately completing all relevant paperwork on a daily basis.
- Undertake training to develop skills and knowledge including new products and services offered by manufacturers.

**We are looking for**:

- Experience working with plant / farm machinery / ground-care machinery is preferred
- Experience and a good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems as well as petrol and diesel engines.
- Ability to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Be self-motivated, have good communications skills and have a willingness to take on new challenges
- Ability to adhere to health & safety practices and procedures
- The ability to work as a team or individually
- Full UK driving license

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
