Energetic year 3/4 Cross over Class Teacher need for St Helens Primary school - January start.
We are working in partnership with a community based St Helens Primary school to recruit an energetic Year 3/4 crossover Teacher to start for January half term.
This role is to work with a small class of Year 4 pupils who need an modified curriculum to include some Year 3 work in Maths and English to bring up there target grades. They are warm and willing to learn but need some additional support to be able to accesslesson objectives. You will need to be able to adapt quickly to the needs of the class.
The school promote a nurturing environment for both staff and pupils and are keen to meet passionate educators.

They are have lots of outdoor areas and nature walks near the school and use these areas to develop pupils love for nature.
Your new role.
Your new role will include all aspects of lesson planning and preparation. You will deliver a modified curriculum to KS2 pupils and follow the values and standards of the school. You will be engaging in and monitoring behaviour management in a variety of waysand incorporating a myriad of Behaviour for Learning methods. You will be ensuring pupil engagement and differentiating material to suit attainment needs. You will be required to collaborate with other staff members to boost student engagement.
What you will need to succeed.
- Recent experience of Teaching in Primary.
- Provide relevant references.
- Have QTS or ECT status.
- Knowledge of Primary curriculum.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and flexibility.
- Highly motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
- Up-to-date DBS preferred (Hays can supply if needed).
- ECT's will be considered.
