Finance Assistant

My client is **Bright**, an established agile software company and Digital Asset Management (DAM) specialist, based in Brighton and proud to work with over 900 global clients including 20 in the FTSE 100.

You will be joining the Business Operations Team who are responsible for supporting Bright with finance, office and people functions. This is a newly created role which will suit an experienced finance assistant, the main responsibility being to assist the finance managers in the smooth running and accuracy of accounts payable and receivable.
Your key duties will be to:
- Manage payables/receivables inboxes and handle queries
- Process invoices and expenses to Xero
- Complete credit card reconciliations
- Manage company subscriptions
- Maintain records of company social and travel expenses
- Complete bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Manage remittances and cheque payments
- Assist with credit control
- Process purchase orders, managing client procurement platforms
- Provide support for the wider function of the business operations team.
- An accomplished finance assistant with at least three years' experience gained in a similar role
- Committed to producing accurate work and with the ability to learn quickly
- A great communicator with a high level of literacy
- Able to demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and multi-task
- Familiar with SaaS products.
