We're on the hunt for a passionate, driven and experienced senior baker looking to make the next step to being a head baker, or an existing head baker looking for their next project

We're a young business with two years of growth behind us. Having just moved into a new production facility south of Cambridge, we're really excited to level up and provide our beautiful bread and pastries far and wide.
- 2 years minimum of Sourdough or Venoisserie is a must for the right applicant.

And be comfortable...
- Leading a team of bakers in producing sourdough and yeasted breads, artisan sweet treats, and venoisserie.
- Teaching others. Therefore an understanding of fermentation, lamination and temperature control will be a necessity.
- Implementing structure for the wider team to work by - from cleaning to stock taking and compiling orders.
- Trouble shooting equipment snags and planning servicing accordingly with the management team (The bakery will be equipped with new equipment)
- Maintain product aesthetic and batch continuity.
- Along with the operations team work on a strict health and hygiene system.
- Previous experience working in a bakery or similar food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong understanding of Sourdough fermentation and lamination.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Bakery: 2 years (preferred)
