Dog Walker and Pet Sitter

Responsibilities:

- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide exercise, genetic fulfilment and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their dog's care
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor the behaviour and health of dogs while on walks
- Report any concerns or issues to pet owners or supervisor
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients

Qualifications:

- Experience with animal care, preferably with dogs
- Knowledge of basic dog behaviour and handling techniques with a keen vision to continue learning
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina for walking long distances in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for dog walks
- Flexibility to work during weekdays, with opportunities to work weekends/evenings and holidays
- We would prefer the applicant to be confident handling up to 4 dogs at once. However, this is not necessary and can be discussed further in your interview

Note: This position requires a genuine love for animals and a responsible attitude towards their care and public safety. Dog Walkers must be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

The days and hours are customisable to your preference and availability. However, your services must be available on the same days and hours each week to keep a consistent service for our clients.

Dog walking takes time and dedication to build up a consistent clientele. Please be aware of this before applying.

We will provide you with an induction to the business, uniform and marketing tools can be provided upon request.

**Salary**: £90.00-£150.00 per day
