Impact Test Equipment have an opportunity for Production Assistant to work with our busy team based at our facility in Stevenston, Ayrshire. At Impact we are focused on our customers and their requirements. Our team works to exceptionally close tolerances, which is an essential requirement that the Civil Engineering and Construction industry dictates.

Within the role you’ll be assembling, in house production items, as well as identifying faults in customers equipment prior to effecting repairs. You will regularly use measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers and slip gauges. Working from drawings where possible, but will from time to time, be required to identify faults using your experience and knowledge. We know how important our technicians are to our business, so we offer the opportunity for development of your skills and progression.

**Key Skills**:

- Mechanical or Electrical experience or qualification.
- Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role would be preferred.
- Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
- We are looking for someone who is dynamic and possesses a proactive attitude.
- Display effective communications and relationship building with all colleagues
- Flexibility towards overtime when available
- Able to communicate professionally with staff on all levels

- This role has 35 core hours per week; Monday to Friday 8.45am - 4.45pm, overtime is required three evenings and Saturday mornings.

Salary dependent on experience.
