**Job Title**: Production MIG Welder

**Location**: Leicester

**Pay rate**: £11.50 - 12.50 DOE

**Hours of Work/Shift**: Twilight shift

**Type**: Temp to perm

**Start Date**: Immediately

We are hiring for a Production Welder using a grinder in Thurmaston. This is a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication. You will be an important part of this team helping to continue the growth of the business.

We are an established sheet metal manufacturing firm in Leicester. They are currently undergoing a period of sustained growth and require a Production Welder, with previous experience within the sheet metal industry.

**Duties of a Production MIG Welder**
- Welding light / thin gauges
- sheet metal (1mm to 5mm)
- Working from basic technical engineering drawings
- Working as part of a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication team

**Skills and experience of a Production MIG Welder**
- Must be able to fettle and quality check final products
- MIG welding experience within sheet metal essential
- TIG welding experience will also be beneficial
- Good written and communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety

**It would be beneficial to the Production MIG Welder role if you also had**
- Work to high standards
- Good communication skills, written and verbal English
- Access to reliable transport. The client’s site is accessible via car, public transport, walking or cycling
