We have the amazing opportunity for new members to join our team in our expanding 5 star licensed daycare based in Upholland

Requirements for the role:

- Engagement and playing with dogs, including conducting enrichment activities.
- Dog behaviour knowledge and skills including understanding basic body language.
- Be an active team player and willing to help out in all areas of the business including our kennels, cattery and grooming salon.
- Making sure the dogs are always kept in a clean environment, picking up after the dogs, mopping floors and cleaning walls.
- General housekeeping such as laundry.
- Good communication skills as checking dogs in and out and taking payment is part of the role.

We are looking for somebody who most importantly loves dogs, has a motivated attitude to work, holds high hygiene standards and enjoys working as part of a team

**DAYCARE APPRENTICE**

For this role we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who has a passion for animals and a willingness to learn to join our team and help in our daycare and also lend a hand in our kennels and cattery at times too

For the apprenticeship you will study with St. Helens college completing a recognised NVQ animal management course with certification and we will of course include on the job training and support

This role will be very similar to the assistant role above and include a lot of cleaning and handling of dogs so you will need to be fit and confident around various breeds of dogs
