Hire Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a trainee or experienced Hire Controller to join our team in Purfleet.

**What does the job involve?**

You will be responsible for ensuring we provide a safe, reliable, effective service to our customers, maintaining the highest levels of safety, appearance and professionalism striving to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role involves the daily use of company IT systems and software used to maintain and run the business efficiently so having great computer skills is essential as a large part will be IT based from entering orders to report processing.

You would need to maintain a safe and responsible attitude towards your work and demonstrate exceptional customer service in all aspects of the working day, also maintaining product knowledge with the ability to competently advise and hand over equipment to customers.

**Overall, your main duties will be**:

- Taking calls / orders from new and existing customers
- Dealing with customers at the branch
- Helping, giving advice assisting our customers in solving problems
- Building great rapports with our customers and strengthening relationships
- Processing orders on our hire system
- General administration duties
- Monitoring stock levels and organising equipment transfers
- Ordering from suppliers
- Organising delivery and collections
- Problem solving
- Excellent IT skills
- A team player attitude and have excellent time keeping
- The ability to work overtime
- High level of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- The ability to multi-task, working quickly and accurately under pressure
- Great customer service skills

**Hours**:

- 42.5hr per week
- Mon - Fri 07.30am to 5.00pm
