_**Overview of the role**:_
- As a Taiko People Advisor you will work closely with our Factory senior stakeholders and operators to drive our people culture and support the development of our Teams across the Taiko Factory.
- A highly credible HR Advisor, you will influence and challenge our Operators, constantly identifying opportunities for us to make a difference as an employer and improve our practises across the board, enabling the business to accelerate growth and develop our people alongside.
- The People Advisor will lead frontline ER support, alongside managing casework and leading decision making on complex issues with support from Senior People partner. Ultimately taking accountability for every part of the employee journey and ensuring we offer the best possible experiences for our Teams.

- **Key Accountabilities**:_

**Own It**
- Work closely with the Senior People Partner and wider People Team to design and deliver a comprehensive culture change management programme, putting our people at the heart of everything we do
- You will keep up to date with key legislation changes and make recommendations for adapting current Taiko policy to ensure we are always legal and compliant.

**Care About It**
- Provide brilliant coaching and mentoring to the management population on how to lead and inspire our factory teams.
- Conduct a full review of current HR practices to see what we can do to be slicker and more cost effective.
- Work with the L&D Partner to ensure every operator is trained brilliantly and robust onboarding and training procedures are in place.

**Make it exceptional**
- Support Senior People Partner with the delivery of the recruitment strategy, thinking outside of the box to create and deliver exciting new initiatives focused on talent attraction and reducing Taiko turnover.
- Support Senior people Partner to embed a seamless communication programme where the factory teams are regularly listened to and engaged with the aim of creating a brilliant working environment, where everyone feels trusted, respected and listened to with theaim of improving retention.

- What you’ll need:_
- Previous experience of managing HR operations within a similar factory environment
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and experience of handling a range of complex employee relations cases.
- Being first point of contact for all Taiko employee HR queries
- Reporting on Long terms sick, short term sick, overtime and excess hour every week and managing people KPIs.
- Proven track record of building rapport and establishing trust with Operations Teams, comfortable to challenge, with the ability to influence.
- Experience of managing, mentoring and developing operation supervisors and team leaders.
- Covering for Senior People partner and recruitment partner as and when required.
- A consultative and considered approach, balancing the commercial needs of our business with the needs of our people.
- A flexible approach - you'll need to be fluid and adaptable to our company's changing priorities and needs.
- An expert communicator: you are a confident, articulate and persuasive speaker, as well as an empathic listener.
- A collaborative team player, with a willingness to pitch in when needed on various initiatives and projects.
- Buckets of resilience and emotional intelligence.
- A genuine desire to create a market leading working environment for our Factory Teams.
- The skills to be an exceptional Leader and coach, who can communicate well at any level.
- Preferably educated to CIPD level 5 or above.
- Ability to prioritise a challenging workload, meeting short and long term timelines.
