**About The Role**:
We have early evening shift work available in an exciting service that really makes a difference to everyone’s lives? As a **key member of our 111 team** in **Ipswich **you’ll be doing just that
This is your chance to train to be a
** Health Advisor** in our
**111 call centre**, handling calls from members of the public. You’ll learn how to use a state-of-the-art triage tool called NHS
**Pathways** to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care.
**Our up coming training(s**tart) **dates are**:
- **Saturday 15th April**:
- Part Time - Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) Tues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-9.30pm) for 5 weeks**:
- **Tuesday 2nd May**:
- Full Time - Monday to Friday (9:00am-5:00pm) for 4 weeks**
**The extensive training equips you with valuable skills and includes assessments. You must attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks’ support before you are signed off to work on your own.**
- Once you’ve completed your training, you can join the team
**full or part-time** on a
**bespoke**
**shift** to suit your lifestyle. However, they will need to include weekdays, evenings, weekends and overnights.

**ates of Pay**:
£10.19 per hour - daytime and during training (07:00-23:00); £13.11 per hour - Premium zone night rate (23:00-07:00); £13.11 per hour - Premium Zone night rate Friday evening to Monday morning (23:00-07:00).
You have the flexibility to pick up additional shifts or overtime at any time.
**About You**:
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Strong Customer Service skills (over the phone or face to face/ or previous Call Centre experience.
- Excellent **listening and communication** skills that involves talking to people and helping them.
- Ability to work** calmly under pressure**.
- Computer and keyboard skills (full Pathway training will be given)
- A real **passion** to help people and to work for NHS 111 (tell us about this in your interview)
- Be prepared to work shifts (24/7 rota providing cover on weekends, nights and Bank Holidays)
