**A bit about the role**

As a Barista at Time Coffee Bar, you will be involved with day-to-day operations, stock maintenance, health & safety, store marketing and other tasty activities. You will be dedicated to creating uplifting experiences for our customers and inspire your colleagues to keep customer service at the heart of everything they do.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment for brewing coffee
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Strong communication and customer service skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
