Associate Practitioner

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Blood Science Department of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an Associate Practitioner with an IBMS accredited degree or equivalent qualification and laboratory experience.
Your work will ensure that the department delivers a high quality, timely and effective UKAS-accredited service, where patient experience and safety is central.
The Blood Science Department which includes COVID testing facility is based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital site at Winchester. The main hub laboratory is on the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital site. This practitioner post is based on the Winchester site but there may be an occasional requirement to support the Basingstoke Team.
The successful applicants will be excellent communicators who enjoy working in a busy, complex environment with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
The roles will require post-holders to be flexible and highly organised, able to align their values with those of the organisation, have the ability to work as part of a team with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude.
Ability to work flexibly across a 7 day week will be a positive advantage.
