**The Role**: Group Internal Communications Manager - Maternity Cover
PIB Group is a rapidly growing group of businesses across different elements of the insurance sector, with a presence in the UK & Ireland, mainland Europe, and Latin America. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Group Internal Communications Managerto join our Group Communications & Engagement team. This is a maternity cover role that will be responsible for delivering an effective and engaging internal communication program that supports PIB's strategic objectives of collaboration, specialisation, andgrowth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver a diverse programme of internal communication activities, projects and campaigns in support of PIB’s strategic objectives, with the core themes of Collaboration, Specialisation and Growth at the heart of everything
- Develop and implement internal communications plans to engage employees and enable them to understand their role in supporting PIB's growth journey
- Manage and take ownership of the internal communication strategy and plan for Group HR L&D, Group HR operations as well as ad-hoc support to Group Services and divisional areas
- Manage a healthy pipeline of M&A announcement activity for the UK and Ireland, working with key stakeholders
- Support the delivery of initiatives throughout the year including employee engagement survey, gender pay gap, CSR initiatives, D&I, and wellbeing.
- Source interesting or inspiring stories/case studies that bring PIB’s strategy to life
- Work closely with team members to mentor, train, and support their development
- Oversee and work closely with the communication coordinator to ensure communication channels are effective for reaching target audiences with key messages and look for opportunities to continuously improve
- Produce compelling content and experiences including TV, events, or conferences.
- Measure the impact of communication and engagement activity against objectives.
- Act as a champion for the ongoing development of PIB's collaborative and entrepreneurial culture and act as an ambassador for PIB's brand and tone of voice

**Experience**:

- Strong communication experience with the ability to provide a strategic outlook and counsel/advice to key stakeholders.
- At the same time able to plan and deliver internal communication strategies, projects, and activities in a compelling and interesting way including tactical activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with members of the comms team and HR colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with internal communication channels, content creation, and measurement
- Proven experience in stakeholder management at all levels, including executive members.
- Experience working in the insurance sector or a related industry is a plus
