**Bramble Lodge** is a well renowned Residential and Dementia Care Home in West Hallam. Many of our staff are long servers, some having been with us for over 20 years.

**We are dedicated to support and provide training opportunities for your career development**

Are you : Caring, Self-motivated, Organised, Able to work as part of a team, Sensitive to the needs of others and a good communicator? Do you have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or are willing to work towards this?

If you have experience then that is great, but full training will be given so we are looking for the right person as opposed to someone necessarily with previous experience.

The duties will include:

- Assisting the Head Cook in the smooth running of the Kitchen
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, participating in the cleaning routine and complying with all Environmental Health requirements
- Assist in the preparation of meals in accordance with the set menus, availability of food and wishes of the residents. Care must be taken to ensure that all meals are presented in an attractive manner
- Assist in the correct storage of all foods, in accordance with legal requirements
- Assist in the catering for special diets, as required
- Assist in the taking of recordings, as required
- This is not an exhaustive list of tasks and there are other duties that form a part of the full job specification

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
