**Lecturer in IT and Computing - Part-time 0.8 - Fixed-term contract until 30th June 2023**

**Salary: £22,994.40 - £33,120 (FTE T1 - T11, £28,743 - £41,400 per annum)**

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional who will ensure high quality student learning in Information Technology. You will support the Head of Department in delivering high standards of teaching and learning to students through the most effective,efficient and economic use of the College’s resources.

As an IT Lecturer the skills required include patience and tact when working with learners together with planning skills and creativity to prepare interesting activities to improve learners' skills. A natural communicator and proven motivator, you will thriveon student interaction, giving effective guidance and that will, in turn, benefit the education of our IT students.

You will need to hold a degree or vocational qualification in IT or hold a relevant technical degree. You will also need to hold a recognised teaching qualification and level 2 in English and Maths. Previous experience in delivering software and programmingmodules is desirable.
