Warehouse Supervisor

If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Teynham for a Warehouse Supervisor to work for one of our clients who is a service provider covering supply chain, warehousing, quality assurance and more.

In this role you would be working 6am - 6pm, 4 days on - 4 days off. Please note this will include a mixture of weekdays and weekend work, so flexibility is a must. Our client is offering a competitive salary of £29,423 per annum.

**As the Warehouse Supervisor your responsibilities would include**:

- Direct responsibility for stock checking team and packaging issue teams (including Print Room)
- Full management of customer label database and new product information systems and workflows
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management for the livestock system
- Checking stock lines and ensure full plan availability
- Update and prepare stock reports
- Reconcile stock against the system, investigate any discrepancies and escalate results
- Ensure WIP procedure is being adhered to and locations are accurate
- Ensure full physical stock check cycles are complete, and ensure that all anomalies are investigated thoroughly and reconciled in real time
- Ensure that all errors are actively investigated and resolved
- Ensure that all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are accurately documented and maintained
- Ensure that all practices and procedures are carried out in accordance with Company Policy and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Co-ordinate the training and development of key team members, support other teams in supply chain where necessary
- Liaise with suppliers and deal with ongoing communications

**Person Specification**:

- Experience working in a label room and print room environment is beneficial
- Previous leadership experience would be beneficial
- Good communication skills a definite advantage, both written and verbal
- Experience of working within a fresh produce or quality focused environment
- Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment
- Ability to lead by example
- Eye for detail on compliance and H&S desirable
- History of inducting & training new starters would be beneficial
- Must me analytical thinker
- Experience of ERP system
