**The client is a world-class engineering consultancy operating in the Defence, Government & National Security sectors.** **The client is looking for a Software Architect to develop architectures that meet client requirements for the software that will be delivered into them.**

**You will have worked in an agile environment and will mentor engineering teams across the business.**

**40% On-site / 60% Remote working patterns.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Research and develop software solutions for clients.
- Develop the architecture that various software projects will be delivered into.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Deliver products through the TRL framework.
- Capture detailed requirements from clients and transcribe them to the engineering teams.
- Experience with multiple software languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, Javascript and C#.

**Skills & experience**:

- Gathering detailed technical requirements from clients.
- Develop software architecture to meet client requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineering teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Experience developing with either Python, Java, C, C++ or similar software.
