We are seeking a dedicated Senior Youth Development Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals. This role involves providing youth work, guidance, support, and mentorship to young people, develop a wide range of youth activities and recreational provision to meet the needs of the young people and youth priorities of Ocean Road Centre. You will make a significant difference to the lives of young people living in South Tyneside.

Being part of the youth team at Ocean Road Centre you will manage the youth workers and volunteers to reach and improve outcomes in areas around positive activities, health and fitness, employment and increase their participation. To assist with fundraising for youth work. See Job Description for full duties of the post.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in youth work or related fields
- Knowledge of special education practices
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Strong mentoring and counselling skills
