**Working hours**: Full time minimum 40 a week, shifts are scheduled on a rota basis, including early morning, late nights and weekends. We have full and part time jobs available to suit your individual circumstances.

**Job purpose**:

- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- To be an ambassador for the Japan Centre Group Brand
- To assist customers while they are in our sites with any questions or queries they may have
- To Serve customers through the till
- To assist customer packing or carrying their shopping within our sites
- To prepare food for our customers
- Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
- To advise our customers about our food products
- To serve food to our customers
- Refill our shelves with the relevant products
- Check & rotate date codes to ensure we provide our customers with quality products
- Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
- This job requires you to stand throughout your working shifts
- Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying heavy items
- Heave lifting (cases of sake, drinks, rice etc.), able to manage delivery cages

**Essential Skills**:

- Speak/read/write Japanese
- Previous experience in a similar role
