**Wood Machinist,** £14.50-£16.50 ph + excellent benefits package, Mon - Fri, 40 Hours, Lopen.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Wood Machinist **to join our friendly team in South Petherton, Somerset

The successful** **Wood Machinist** will be responsible for operating and setting the following machines to ensure LM targets are achieved and the finished product achieves the correct quality:
- Moulders / 4 Siders
- Spindle Moulder
- Thicknesser
- Cross Cut

Your role as a **Wood Machinist** is business critical as you will be the last person to see the products before they are delivered to the customer and requires that you are able to:

- Accurately record part numbers against orders on the company computer system
- Check the items for any defects prior to being packed.
- Pack items in a manner that will prevent any damage occurring in transit.
- Produce client specific labels on a PC.

You will need to have;
- Experience in wood machining, running 4 sided moulders, including setting blocks for profiled sections
- Experience in griding profiles and sharpening blocks.
- And must have good knowledge of woodworking machinery and demonstrate their ability to operate such machinery.
