Warehouse Assistant

Woven Art Company is a growing and ambitious têxtile digital printing and wholesale business situated on the outskirts of Clitheroe.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a full-time basis.

Duties to include:

- Picking and preparing/packaging orders for dispatch.
- Van Driving
- delivering goods to customers and collection from suppliers.
- Receiving goods in/deliveries.
- Use of inspection/sample cutting machines
- Following internal quality procedures
- Completion of production paperwork
- Manual handling and use of mechanical lifting aids
- General house keeping and cleaning

Personal qualities:

- Outgoing
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time keeping
- Hard working and reliable
- Physically fit, heavy lifting will be required

Desired skills
- Computer literate
- Good organisational skills
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment and fork lift license would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.

Contract type - Full-time/Permanent

Start Date - Immediate Start

Hours - Monday to Friday - However, during peak periods flexibility is required.
