Studio Assistant

We are looking for a Studio Assistant with a specific interest in learning how to Grade and make pattern production amendments using Gerber CAD software.

No previous CAD experience will be required as training will be provided.

Duties will include:

- Digitizing patterns -after training ( inputting hand drafted patterns into the CAD system)
- Annotating patterns using Gerber software
- Checking digitized patterns against originals for accuracy
- Popping and packing patterns for dispatch
- General studio organisation and day to day duties
- Creating and filling spec charts
- Shadowing the Grader
- learning the basics of sizing and marker making for samples and production.
- Creating Tech Packs /Technical drawings
- Social Media Marketing

Skills / Experience
- Must have an interest in sizing and the ‘technical’ side of the fashion industry - **this is not a design role**:

- Must have impeccable organisation and communication skills
- Logical and methodical approach to all tasks
- Must have a positive and open attitude towards learning
- Competent on Excel / Outlook
- Fluent in English

15- hours per week

Tuesday - 11 am - 6 pm

Thursday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm

Required working days are Tuesday and Thursday - to start, with the potential to increase after completion of the training period.

**This is an onsite job - no remote working available**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
