Are you an experienced Credit Control professional seeking a new opportunity? Our Bourne based client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team to provide an all-round credit control function.

You will focus on the management of the sales ledger, ensuring prompt payment from customers while providing excellent customer service and reducing potential bad debts. To further manage customer credit limits ensuring compliance with internal & creditinsurance policies.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Chase & collect all amounts owing on the sales ledger
- Review & reconcile accounts with credit balances
- Prepare account reconciliations for all key accounts
- Process telephonic card payments from customers
- Manage referred orders from sales/customer service department daily
- Record & chase customer invoice queries or claims both internally & with the customer
- Submit sales ledger reports to specified key accounts, addressing & resolving disputes
- Support with various accounts based ad hoc duties.

**Key skills**:

- It is essential you’ll have previous experience in a similar Credit Control role, ideally 5 years and with credit limit management
- You’ll need to be a strong communicator and be highly capable building rapport and relationships
- You’ll also need to have strong IT skills, especially with Excel and Word.
- Education - 5 GCSEs including Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a pressurised environment
- Attention to detail. Deadline & results driven
- Team player

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9 -5.30 or 8.30 - 5pm - there can be some flexibility
