Personal Assistant

We are looking for a Personal Assistant for a staff member who is sight impaired, preferably to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, approximately 9:00am to 3:00pm but with some flexibility.

18 hours per week with travel time.

Must be a driver and have own vehicle as will be required to collect staff member and return her home at the end of the working day. Also, will be required to drive staff member to other venues as role requires.

This is a varied role that will involve something different most days.

Be able and confident to use a computer including:
Databases, Excel, Word, Outlook

Some retail experience would be a bonus, but not essential.

Must be comfortable with dogs as staff member has guide dog, who will accompany you both.

Needs to be kind, trustworthy, reliable, courteous and approachable.

Able to work well independently and use initiative but equally be directed.

Must be able to get on with people of all ages and disabilities.

This appointment is through the Access to Work Scheme with the DWP.

You will be self employed, so will be responsible for your own tax and NI.

The rate of pay is at least £15 per hour via the Access to Work scheme.

Additional payment for travel costs for collection of Staff member and any transportation through the working day will be remunerated with travel expenses.

This post will require a full DBS check.

Looking for immediate start.
