Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist a woman with a Physical Disability living in the Larkhall area, you will be working alongside another support worker providing 2-1 support.

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance, within their home, including attending to personal care.

Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:

- Attending to all personal care needs showering etc., (toileting including bowel movements)
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals, healthy snacks and feeding
- Moving and assisting - guiding power chair, using tracking hoist, shower chair
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Pets in the household - you must be comfortable working with dogs in the home (1 elderly affectionate dog westie)

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The most important qualities are a warm and compassionate nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Set shifts
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday

**1st Post**

Monday 10am - 4pm

Tuesday 10am - 4pm

Wednesday 11am - 4pm

Thursday 10am-9pm

Sunday 9.30am -11.30am

**31 Hours**

**2nd Post**

Monday 10am-2pm

Tuesday 10am-2pm

Wednesday 10am-2pm

Thursday 2pm-8pm

Sunday 9.30am-11.30am

**20 Hours**

**Hourly rate**:
£13.50
