- 3 days a week (carpentry lecturer), full-time (assessor roles)

Pay Rate:

- c.£33-38 per hour via umbrella

Openings have arisen for a Carpentry Lecturer, Wood Assessor and Electrical Installation Assessor in Wiltshire. Said individuals will contribute to the Department’s aims to provide high quality learning and assist in the development, organisation and deliveryof the curriculum
- Providing outstanding training, support and assessment of the programmes and the workplace elements of the course/apprenticeship
- Maintaining effective partnerships with employer and their learners and curriculum teams that promote the achievement
- Ensuring safe learning environments by monitoring health and safety in placements
- Tutoring and managing of groups of students
- Completing awarding organisation documents related to qualification registration and achievement
- Administer and mark initial assessments when required
- Offer guidance to support and motivate students within your cohort to ensure they meet their external goals
- To participate fully in Quality Procedures
- Attend day and evening meetings and courses to benefit both yourself and the College
- Work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College
- To hold or be willing to work towards Assessors Award (if applicable) and Verification Award (if applicable)
- Full driving licence and your own transport in order to visit employers and apprentices on site
- Minimum of Level 2 in Literary and Numeracy (or equivalent)
- TAQA or Assessors / IQA Qualification
