We are passionate about delivering excellent service, speciality coffee and freshly made tasty food. Our Accounts Assistant needs to support Café Managers with financial and compliance tasks. Be the main contact for suppliers, manage daily entry, support in site financial performance and help the growth of the overall the business. Our Accounts Assistant must be proactive, agile and mobile with their role, and have broad understanding on the finance function.

To be successful in this position, you should have a real passion for finance, be a people person, have a thorough approach to work and be able to communicate with operation teams effectively.

**Objectives**
- Supporting the Accounts Manager with business accounting activities. This includes raising, sending and paying invoices, reconciling company accounts and chasing late payments.
- Ensure all data entry is accurately documented and should be able to raise any queries with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure financial reporting is completed to timeframes
- Manage and report potential gross profit issues and be able to support site managers with queries.
- Promote a positive workplace culture, encouraging positive relationships with all parties.

**Finance and compliance**
- Invoice processing on a daily basis and ensuring information is accurate
- Processing expenses from site level and HQ
- Perform credit control on a weekly basis
- Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers on Sage Accounting system
- Supporting the Accounts Manager with bank reconciliation on a daily basis
- When needed, you may need to raise sales invoices for Clockwise Offices for events and catering items.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers in a positive way and having a solutions approach to your role.
- Basic administration such as updating records, excel sheets, company files and payroll information
- Updating and maintaining training documents for onsite team and continuously reviewing their standard operating procedures.

- Supporting the team with financial needs or providing support on data entry
- Remain up-to-date with food trends and have an active interest in food innovation

**Communication**
- Communicate confidently, both verbally and non-verbally with Two Hands team members and Clockwise management teams
- Maintain effective communication with all Two Hands team members and adapting styles to each individual
- Support with preparing financial presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Proactively build positive relationships with all key suppliers
- Actively problem solve and take an innovative approach to financial and compliance issues.
- Flag all areas of concern to your line manager immediately

**Necessary skills **and attributes**
- Previous work experience within an accounts role, ideally within the hospitality industry
- Have a ‘can do’ communication style and attitude
- Remain flexible with your approach to work
- Have a strong foundation Microsoft packages and be IT literate
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have a high level of accuracy and analytical skills.
