Sports Lecturer/tutor

**Full Job Description**

We are looking for a Sports Tutor to join our education team, to work at two of our education and football study programme academy hubs

The programme, for 16-19 year olds has a weekly time table of education lessons and football training as well as competing league and cup on Wednesday afternoons.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The post holder will need to be able to work both flexibly and independently, but also as part of a team. They will deliver Sport qualifications at Level 3 in a group setting.
- Liaise with management staff on progress of students throughout the academic year.
- To communicate with our education providers throughout the year regarding courses and educational material.
- To undertake any safeguarding duties that may occur throughout the academic year.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**:
**To be considered for the post you must have the following: -**
- Teaching qualification PTTLS/DTTLS/DTE (Diploma in Education) essential, PGCE desired.
- A current Enhanced DBS check and full driving licence.
- The ability to be able to administer emergency first aid.
- You will need to be naturally confident and be able to control a classroom of 15-20 students.

**Salary**: £22,148.21-£30,000.00 per year
