Job Title: Play Worker

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage and supervise children in various play activities
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to explore and learn
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Assist with meal times and ensure children's dietary needs are met
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of play areas
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all children

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a similar role

Level 3 qualification or equivalent in childcare, adult care or playwork
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus

The hours are 2.30 to 6 termtime and 1 hour meeting per week on holidays the hours are full days. 21 hours average per week.
