Foreman - Sheet Metal Worker

Overtime always available.
Due to a continuous increase in workload a position is available for an experienced skilful full time sheet metal worker foreman who preferably specialises with stainless steel.
**Primary objectives**:As well has being able to conduct sheet metal work yourself you will be expected to supervise a small team of fabricators and semi skilled workers to ensure assigned work conforms to quality, time quoted and productivity:
- Ensure all works are carry out safely.
- Co-ordinate and allocate work to fabricators in accordance with their skills.
- Monitor the use of materials and care of equipment and plant to minimise waste and damage.
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned labour.
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.
- Daily time cards are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the management of an harmonious environment, team building and training of apprentices and other employees as required.
- Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Estimate hours remaining to be completed on jobs.
- Assist in estimating potential jobs.
- Plan overtime for approval
Working hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am - 2.00pm
**Salary**: £16.50 per hour
