Workshop Supervisor

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our Environmental Services Team, here at South Holland District Council.

You will lead your team to work collaboratively with members across the partnership, to provide accurate and effective Fleet Services and administration. You will also assist with the continuous improvement of all services including the operational fleet supervision, monitoring, servicing, and repairs.

Supporting the Fleet Manager & Operations manager, you will help achieve the Objectives of South Holland District Council. Typical tasks will consist of preparing daily work sheets for inspection and ensuring daily defects are reported and repaired in a timely manner to enable the smooth running of all services. Also working with the Health and Safety Advisor to ensure the safety/ compliance/ cleanliness of the workshop and equipment.

**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience of workshop supervision including use of Fleet Diagnostic Systems
- Level 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle service & Maintenance & Repair including health & safety knowledge relevant to this area
- Category C Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Use of Microsoft Office and confident in navigating a range of computer systems.
