We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Assessor to join our Neurodiversity team. Working as part of the central functions team you will be used to working in a fast paced, agile environment.

As a Specialist Assessor you will conduct in-depth, one-to-one diagnostic assessments with client, to determine whether they have a specific learning difficulty and the impact this will have on their working experience.

What you'll be doing:

- Provide psychological assessments of clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of data from a variety of sources including clinical interview, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect observations and semi-structured interviews with patients, and on occasion if appropriate family members and others involved in the clients’ care.
- Interpret test results and provide constructive and appropriate feedback to the client ensuring they fully understand the assessment process throughout and any test results;
- Provide a full explanation of the rationale for any conclusions and recommendations, which should be appropriate to the workplace
- Provide high quality and concise diagnostic assessment reports, which should be shared with the client within agreed timeframes (SLA).
- To work alongside the team to improve service provision for those with neurodivergence within the workplace. Examples may include workshops regarding reasonable adjustments and best practice
- To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of patients where necessary.
- To meet with clients and employers to conduct workplace needs assessment. Understanding client concerns and identified barriers; Identify and make suitable recommendations for appropriate reasonable adjustments that will make a lasting impact to the employee.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of assistive technologies, specialist equipment and products that may be useful for the client that links closely to their specific job requirements
- Deliver training to our Clients supporting neuroinclusion within the workplace
- Collating and compiling competent reports that are fit for purpose
- Deliver face to face or virtual assessments
- Working holistically with other professionals (e.g. physiotherapy, doctors, nurses)
- Maintain high client satisfaction levels

Qualifications:
Educated to Degree Level

Eligible to diagnose SpLDs using the appropriate guidelines and hold a current* Assessment Practising Certificate which must include at least one of the following;
Current level 7 SpLD Assessment Practising Certificates

AMBDA level accredited courses, such as the OCR Level 7 SpLD Diploma

SASC post-graduate courses accredited as leading to an APC

CPT3A qualification

PAPAA qualification
