We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to provide friendly and efficient customer service to our patients and their families. This position will be responsible for all patient-related aspects of the practice including patient registration, scheduling, communication with patients and caregivers, payment collection, and daily office duties. The position will also include clerical support in addition to other administrative duties. The position will be responsible for maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction and confidentiality.

**Job Duties**:

- Greet patients in a friendly manner upon arrival at the practice
- Answer incoming calls in a professional manner; route calls to appropriate staff members according to company policy and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records by entering information into appropriate databases and ensuring that all paperwork is received in timely manner.
- Handle payments from patients per company policy as well as patient's authorization for payments. Collecting cash or checks from patients as well as preparing them for mailing or delivering to practice owners or other staff members for signature completion.
- Maintain an organized front desk with all new patients; maintain an organized front desk with existing patients; maintain an organized charting system per new certification per current HIPAA regulations; maintain an organized charting system per new certifications for new patients; maintain an organized charting system per new certifications for existing patients; collect new patient referrals as well as new referral contacts throughout the practice as directed by leadership; prepare monthly newsletter per organization's policy as well as monthly newsletter submissions to EHR system.
- Keeps the front desk area neat and clean by completing daily cleaning tasks; maintains cleanliness throughout the practice; assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the office including bathrooms; maintains clean charts throughout the EHR system by uploading charts into patient’s charts in real time when completed in clinic; maintains clean charts throughout practice by completing charting tasks such as filling out forms or taking notes during treatment; maintains clean exam rooms by completing weekly cleaning tasks such as vacuuming or mopping; assists in maintaining practice supply inventory including cleaning supply closet throughout entire building per organization’s policy as well as purchasing supplies when needed; keeps lobby area neat and clean by completing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming or mopping; maintains common areas throughout entire building per organization’s policy as well as common areas throughout entire practice including lobby, waiting area, waiting room, hallways, etc.; performs other duties as assigned by management; performs other duties as assigned by management

**Required Skills**:

- Proven working experience in related role(s) (experienced dental assistant, dental doctor assistant, nurse practitioner etc.)or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of dental equipment including how to use dental instruments and how to maintain oral surgery equipment
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations in a dental setting
- Willingness

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
