The role of Head of Digital Sales is a key member of the newly formed Group Digital Channels team, reporting to the Group Head of Digital Channels, in Group Customer Channels. As part of the Channels team, this exciting role will increase Digital Sales performance across all channels, products and segments by building and deploying frameworks & capabilities that accelerates digital sales growth, digital lead management and leveraging multi-channel and shared learnings.

To be successful this role will combine digital sales expertise Acquisition, Optimisation, Conversion (online & offline) expertise across each step of the sales funnel (top, middle, bottom), have a metrics driven mind-set and demonstrate success in building global scalable digital sales performance. A leader who is collaborative and capable of bringing together cross functional teams (global/regional/local market) on the journey with them.

The role holder will be responsible for leading a high calibre team that drive traffic & lead performance, end to end funnel management, integrated multi-channel sales for new customers; as well as growing digital sales with the existing customer base. Also responsible for building global scalable capabilities which accelerate digital sales performance, having a holistic view of product and customer conversion paths and identify sales performance drivers.

This role will input into the relevant prioritisation forums to ensure digital sales journey & feature builds are ‘channel fit for purpose’ across all products distributed through Channel.

Leading at the confluence of marketing, product, technology and data, this role provides strategic and thought leadership to more than 20 markets around the globe, in anything going from traffic generation, funnel conversion, multivariate testing, account opening and onboarding, both through our digital platforms and assisted digital. Being the global SME supporting both digital and physical channels, for all our products and segments.

Your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

- Accelerate commercialization of digital assets by leveraging digital and physical channels, from traffic to conversion to lead drop off management
- Define and drive key digital sales outcomes across digital and physical (assisted) journeys, including traffic optimization and funnel conversion.
- Define performance metrics and set operating rhythm to deliver digital sales growth across products/markets & surface gaps to AOP
- Build and deploy global framework that enable markets to set their digital sales & contributing channel targets (note - targets submitted & owned by markets)
- Design, build and deploy scalable, multi-market capabilities and tools which drive sales performance (new, existing customers) and growth
- Build holistic view of product & customer conversion paths, leads drop-offs across digital & physical channel - to identify performance drivers
- Identify and investigate performance drivers which accelerate performance and scale into best practice
- Activate existing digital capability across wider network
- Pro-actively input into value stream feature builds at the design stage, for products distributed through Channel
- Subject matter expert in support of Global strategic program/s

Requirements
- Ability to lead across global/regional functions & win stakeholder support
- Possess a blend of business and digital savvy; ability to drive strategy into commercial actions
- Strong commercial orientation, with a track record of driving digital sales & customer growth through multi-channels
- Deep knowledge of the levers driving digital sales growth, digital traffic/lead management (paid, organic, cross/upsell) including funnel management, optimisation frameworks and messaging capabilities across digital platforms
- Expertise in conversion optimisation (online & leveraging offline), multi-channel drop-off management and cross-sell
- Proven track record of delivering business performance in a global role
- Ability to set clear strategic direction, aligned with Markets and key stakeholders
- Comfortable working across data and digital performance metrics and eCommerce
- Strong consulting and collaborative problem solving skills
- Proactive and resilient. Ability to navigate complex organization problems, through collaboration and negotiation
