Bookkeeper

My well-established client based in the Spalding area is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis

The FTE salary for this role is £25,000. this is a part-time position and weekly hours will be between 25-30 hours per week.

Working as a Bookkeeper is an extremely varied role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions. You will be required to work alongside the operational team to ensure the smooth management of customer accounts.You must have good interpersonal skills, a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail. There will be the opportunity to get involved in different areas of the business, participating in internal meetings and offering project support when necessary.

Some of the day-to-day tasks will include...

*Purchase Ledger - Generating Office/Service-related purchase orders, posting invoices through ERP, Allocation of payments, checking statements.
- Sales Ledger - Debt Chasing, handling sales queries, processing statements, allocation of customer payments.
- Accounting - Bank reconciliation, complete month/year end processes, processing journals, recording any inconsistencies.
