We are currently seeking a Full-Time Caretaker to join our team at a primary school located in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the school premises, ensuring a positive environment for both students and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting daily checks of the premises to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Undertaking routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, gardening, and minor repairs
- Responding promptly to any maintenance or health and safety issues that arise
- Assisting with setting up rooms and equipment for school events and activities
- Monitoring and maintaining heating, lighting, and security systems
- Liaising with school staff and external contractors as required
- Performing other duties as assigned by the school leadership team

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a caretaking or facilities management role preferred
- Strong practical skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is essential

Pay: £11.44-£13.49 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
