Baker/cake Decorator

Cakes and bakes Barkingside is looking for a Baker / cake decorator

who will be responsible working in the kitchen for baking and cake making with decoration presentation skills to attract customers. They should possess good knowledge on flours, dough making, mixing and fermenting process including various bread, cakes, desserts and other bakery items. They should make various types of sponges and cake bases from weighing, mixing, fermenting and baking. They should produce cakes with various finishes, flavours and styles in cake decorating for all occasions and celebrations. They should speak with customers in person and over the phone and should produce tailor made or bespoke cakes and confectioneries. Should be able to work as per deadlines and be able to produce volume production breads and cakes and other products as required. Train/supervise other staff when required. Should comply with health, safety & hygiene standards.

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Baking/ cake decorating: 3 years (preferred)
