A automotive manufacturing company are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Engineering team and support on preventative maintenance. You will have experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment with experience leading and developingan engineering team.

As a Maintenance Supervisor your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- The role of a Maintenance Supervisor is to participate in the total and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities.
- Support on the technical direction, coaching and motivation of a team of multi-skilled technicians and maintenance engineers.
- Manage the technical resource within the manufacturing facility.
- Provide on site technical knowledge for machinery, processes and health and safety.
- Co-ordination and direction of the Maintenance function ensuring an effective TPM maintenance regime and efficient industrialisation.
- Change Management, shifting the emphasis from re-active to pro-active maintenance.
- Driving continuous improvement projects and improving equipment and process efficiency.
- Work with the Health & Safety team on assisting in relation to plant equipment, processes and machinery.

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor with the following.
- Degree or Apprentice qualified within mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience in supervision and leadership roles within an engineering or maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.
- A hands on Supervisor with the ability to conduct routine & reactive maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC’s, robotics and automated equipment.
- Confident with coaching and developing a engineering/maintenance team.
- Positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills.
