Checkout Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented checkout assistant to join our team. As a checkout assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service both face to face and over the telephone.

This is a very fast paced role so previous retail experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Main responsibilities include:

- Welcoming customers into the shop
- Serving customers face to face with a positive and friendly approach
- Arranging home deliveries, ensuring all personal details are up to date and correct
- Provide product information where required
- Keeping the checkout area neat and tidy

This role will be 5 days out of 7, including one day at weekends. Hours will be 10am - 4pm.

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
