Our client, a midlands based Local Authority is seeking to recruit a Project Support Officer on an interim basis. This is a project administrative position, which will see you supporting the Home to School Transport team. You will be working with workstreamleads in the department and updating project tasks. There are 7-9 workstreams which will be allocated based on what best fits your experience.

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Project Coordination and updating Project plans
- Experience in a public sector organisation or on similar projects within Children Services is desirable but not essential
- Experience of supporting project(s) or programmes of work, and or process improvement
- Stakeholder liaison
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and prioritisation skills
- Sound verbal and written communication skills, able to contribute to reports and present ideas or raise constructive and considered challenge or innovative ideas in workshops / meetings
- Good IT literacy, experienced in using a range of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to intermediate level (use of pivot/formulae/ability to check and cross-check data), use of SharePoint, and / or in-house corporate databasesor systems (e.g., those relating to holding and or tracking information and data relating to customers, service users, or suppliers)
- Understanding of project and programme concepts, e.g., Prince 2 or P3O foundation level qualifications
