- CNC Miller Machinist - programmer/setter/operator
- 2 CNC Turner Machinists - setter/operator

CNC Miller - RESPONSIBILITIES
As a CNC Miller you will be reporting to the Milling Machine Shop Cell Leader. You will be responsible for manufacturing products following specific guidelines, whilst adhering to all Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures. You willbe responsible for the quality of your work and for reporting any non-conformities. You will check drawing numbers, specifications, materials and parts prior to manufacture, ensure the first off inspection is carried out and that all products within the batchconform to requirements.

CNC Miller - REQUIREMENTS
- Milling machinist with programmer / setter / operator capability
- able to make program amendments / adjustments based on work they receive from engineering
- demonstrated ability to set any machine right first time
- aerospace experience - attention to detail and quality rigour
- 4 & 5 axis experience and capability - This involves multi datum setting and also understanding of complex offsets and sometimes triori usage.
- Machine / system control variety - Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens experience
- Good knowledge of HAAS, and Mori Seiki machines with vertical and horizontal machining experience
- Ability to diagnose / trouble shoot machine when faults emerge

CNC Turner - RESPONSIBILTIES
As a CNC Turner you will be operating lathes as part of a dynamic team to complete production. The CNC Lathes are Haas machines, running on Fanuc. Knowledge of these programmes is required.

This role will see you:

- Set and operate CNC work centres adhering to job cards
- Machine parts/components in line with delivery requirements against agreed schedules & cost
- Monitor production process and outputs
- Conduct quality control checks on products
- Stack and store products in accordance with guidelines
- Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery
- Report equipment faults to maintenance staff

Required experience and skills:

- Demonstrable examples of dexterity
- Time served engineer or relevant qualifications. Mazak, Makino preferable
- Working understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) process desirable
- Precision components manufacturing to high quality standards
- Use of hand tools and calibrated measuring equipment.
- Previous experience (+5) in a similar required
- Previous experience of relevant products and environment
