Home Care Assistant

**Approx 20 - 25 hours per week - inc working alternate weekends**

**Regular shift patterns**

Castle Care Teesdale Ltd provides domiciliary care to a range of Service Users within Cockfield village.

Main Responsibilities of this role include:
Ensuring the highest possible levels of care and support are maintained through assisting Service Users with the required aspects of daily living whilst promoting independence.

Your support role will vary from day to day dependant on the needs of the individual Service Users.

Be a confident team player

An ability to work on own initiative.

A willingness to further knowledge and skills through training.

Satisfactory DBS Check and references.
- Previous care experience is advantageous but not essential as full training and support will be provided and access to completing a Health and Social NVQ._

Car driver preferred, however the role is suitable for a non driver who lives in Cockfield village.

£0.30 per mile travel allowance applies.
