Dog Groomer

Petite Paws Only is a pet grooming salon which offers all aspects of dog and cat grooming, based in Worcester city centre. We pride ourselves on tailoring and extending our services to meet individual clients needs.

As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing a variety of grooming services to our clients, including bathing, haircutting, styling and spa treatments. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized grooming area, as well as communicating effectively with clients and team members.

We also do cat grooming days/evenings where you will be required to help the business owner as support during these times. No cat experience is neccesary as in house training will be given.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent attention to detail and a patient and gentle approach to handling dogs. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

You must have a good range of portfolio pictures to showcase your work and be available for a trial shift as part of your interview.

We are looking for either a part time or full time groomer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of grooming services, including bathing, haircutting, and styling
- Be able to support during cat grooming
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Handle dogs with patience and care
- Maintain accurate grooming records of services provided
- Processing payments and booking appointments on our booking system

**Requirements**:

- At least 2+ years of previous experience as a Dog Groomer
- Level 2 or 3 qualified - but not desirable if you have salon experience
- Cat experience not necessary as will be given full training in house
- Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A genuine love for dogs and cats

Pay will be based on experience/qualifications
